It's hard to pick a favorite because my parents read to me a lot when I was little. It has stayed with me my whole life. Now my wife and I try to read with our kids as much as we can so that they'll have a love of reading, too. (And the time spent with them is priceless.) Goodnight Moon is a classic and unfortunately our copy didn't survive our first two kids - it was, um, well loved. My mom always tells the story about how she use to get so sick of reading that book every night. I can still remember some of the words. LOL.
